Little Seoul, June 26 , 2022

On Sunday evening, Jun 26th of 2022, Mickey S. and three of his private security members were making regular rounds in Little Seoul meeting with the citizens of Los Santos when near where they were at UwU Cafe shots rang out in the night.  Upon meeting with Captain Randy Wrangler in the restaurant, they learned that many officers had been downed in the area as a result of the ensuing firefight. Mayor Mickey, being a man of action, had his team ready to fly over the area on what was meant to be merely a scouting mission, however upon seeing a badly injured officer in the streets below, Mayor S. gave the order to land in an effort to rescue and recover the wounded public servant.  The team was successful in rescuing Senior Deputy Preston Hale who had been incapacitated during the skirmish and was life flighted in the mayoral helicopter to Viceroy Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.

 

In the evening prior to the events, The Mayor and his team had been flying throughout the city meeting with citizens in an effort to provide what his administration referred to as “Generous Licks,” on “Stimulus Sunday.” It is Mayor S.’ goal to continue to be a man of the people and as such be amongst the citizens of Los Santos daily as he goes about his duties. In the moments before the event Mayor S. had been spending some time with the people at UwU cafe returning to his roots as a greeter and providing relationship advice as he worked a brief shift.  The team had been earlier escorted to the restaurant by a member of the Unified Defense Force in Air 1 and told there was an active shootout in the area and to stay safe. As is common knowledge in the city, Mayor S and his team traverse the city via helicopter, so it is not uncommon to see him and his team flying over as they make their rounds.  In this instance as the airspace over little Seoul was deemed dangerous, Air 1 deemed it necessary to ensure safe passage for Mayor S and his team.  Having landed in the parking lot at the cafe, the team delivered cash stimuluses before embarking on the next leg of their journey that’s when they encountered Captain Wrangler ordering food at the cafe and where they were informed of the situation.

 

Mr. S. And his team had planned to meet with the Unified Defense Force later in the day and upon hearing of the violence occurring in the streets just a few hundred feet nearby knew he couldn’t sit by and do nothing. The plan was to fly over and be able to provide information to search and rescue for officers who had been injured, however upon taking flight Mr. S spotted what appeared to be a lifeless body below so he commanded their pilot to land. When they got out of the helicopter and approached the found Senior Deputy Preston Hale breathing, conscious, but very injured. He was unresponsive at first upon their arrival, but shortly after trying to get him to rouse he became alert and was able to tell Mr. S and his team more of the situation.  He had been gravely injured in the midst of the firefight and was in desperate need of medical treatment but because of the continuing engagement trying to bring in medical support was impossible. Mr. S. made the executive decision to send Senior Deputy Hale with his security detail pilot James Buchanan Barnes in a Life Flight capacity to Viceroy Medical Center to receive necessary life saving treatment.

 

While Mr. Barnes was ensuring Senior Deputy Hale’s safety, Mr. S and his 2 remaining security detail members continued to search the streets for any other endangered service members. It wasn’t long before they were able to connect with Deputy Gable who informed them that the conflict had ended whereupon Mr. S. and his detail returned to their business attending to the citizens of Los Santos.
