On Election night as the ballot box closed and the final votes were being tallied for the results of the 6th mayoral election of Los Santos, mayoral candidate Mickey S. received a phone call from an unknown number demanding that he pull out of the race.  A series of calls and threats then occurred from an unknown individual to Mr. S. and his team stating that if he did not withdraw from the election, that this individual would “kill everyone.”  What ensued shortly after can only be described as an attempted mass murder as the unknown individual began to lay waste first to Mr. S.’ security team via sniper rifle where one individual, Mr. Xavier (Xay) Sin, was severely injured on the roof of Lingburg tower.  After retreating to Pillbox for care, the individual maintained an assault over the next few hours between members of the LS UPF atop the tower where he was injured and his DNA was collected by Chief of Police Sam Baas. After the individual’s retreat from the tower he sought out Mr. S. and his security detail and while the candidate and his entourage made their way across the island their helicopter was tragically shot down. All individuals inside were severely injured in the attack however members of the LS UPF were able to secure the crash site and recover the injured individuals. They were air lifted by Mr. Ayub Elmi to Pillbox for emergency treatment where upon landing on the roof of the hospital a catastrophic explosion rang out. It is not known yet how the unknown individual was able to cause the EMS transport helicopter to explode, but Mr. S. along with each of his security detail were all in life threatening condition. Mr. S. was rushed into emergency surgery and under guard by members of the LS UPF as he was being stabilized. Luckily after the successful treatment of Dr. Elizabeth Gates Mickey S. was in stable enough condition to begin recovery.  When the mayoral race was ready to be called it was determined by the judiciary that to be elected, all candidates must be present and so members of the UPF along with Dr. Gates and members of Pillbox were able to to transport Mr. S. to the courthouse where he was elected the 6th Mayor of Los Santos.

 

This administration is eternally grateful to the service members of the Los Santos Unified Police Department as well as the healthcare professionals of Pillbox medical for their bravery and conduct in the line of duty on the night of June 10th.

Final notes: This administration is still investigating the details of this heinous terrorist. We are determined to bring this individual to justice. If you have any information about this individual, please reach out to Chief Sam Baas. We need any and all information available that might lead to the capture and arrest of this person. They must be brought to justice.  That said, we will not back down. We will NOT go quietly. This administration will prevail in making Los Santos a better City for its residents.  Los Santos Strong!
